Abstract
⺠A three-dimensional hydrogen absorption model is developed. ⺠Equilibrium pressure is derived as a function of H/M atomic ratio and temperature. ⺠Absorption model is validated against the temperature evolution measured data. ⺠The hydrogen charging time for 99% absorption is captured by the present model. ⺠This study provides fundamental understanding of heat and mass transfer phenomenon.
