Abstract
⺠We investigate H2 production from large hydraulic plant (14 GW) by water electrolysis. ⺠We consider H2 conversion in chemical reactors to produce methane. ⺠We use O2 for biomass gasification to produce syngas. ⺠We consider integration of H2 with syngas produced with biomass for CH4 synthesis. ⺠We find plants optimal size using a time-dependent thermo-economic approach.
