Abstract
⺠The first systemically investigation of the effect of heat treatment on templated porous carbons. ⺠Heat treatment can improve the structure, textural property and H2 uptake of microporous carbons. ⺠Heat treatment is a simple and general approach to synthesize ordered microporous carbons. ⺠Optimised microporous carbons exhibited hydrogen storage up to 5.85 wt% at 20 bar and â196 °C ⺠Heat treatment has no obvious effect on textural properties and H2 uptake for mesoporous carbons.
