Abstract
⺠Effect of Pd infiltration on the activity and stability of LSM-GDC oxygen electrodes of SOEC is studied. ⺠Infiltrated Pd nanoparticles significantly promote the activity and stability of the LSM-GDC electrodes. ⺠Infiltrated Pd primarily promotes the oxygen surface diffusion and exchange of the reaction. ⺠The observed degradation of Pd-infiltrated LSM-GDC can be further improved by stabilization of the Pd phase.
