Abstract
⺠A two-step process (traditional reformer + membrane permeator) has been tested ⺠Hydrogen is produced in a high temperature reformer by methane auto-thermal reforming ⺠Ultra-pure hydrogen is separated by a Pd/Ag multi-tube membrane device ⺠Methane conversion of 86% is reached under reformer temperature of about 700 °C ⺠A hydrogen flow rate of 1.65 Ã 10â3 mol sâ1 is got at a membrane temperature of 400 °C.
