Abstract
⺠The water-gas shift reaction was examined over Pt/CexZr1âxO2 and Pt-CeOx/CexZr1âxO2. ⺠Pt/Ce0.4Zr0.6O2 showed the highest WGS activity in all temperature ranges. ⺠The activity was improved when CeOx was added on Pt/CexZr1âxO2 (x = 0.05 and 0.2). ⺠The interaction between Pt species and surface ceria-zirconia species is beneficial. ⺠The catalyst deactivation can be explained by a decrease in the Pt dispersion.
