Abstract
► Pr2−xSrxNiO4 with K2NiF4 structure was first synthesized by a glycine-nitrate method. ► Pr2−xSrxNiO4 materials are chemically compatible with SCO electrolytes. ► Pr2−xSrxNiO4 have good thermal compatibility with SCO electrolytes. ► Pr2−xSrxNiO4 materials have relatively high electrical conductivity. ► ASR value of Pr2−xSrxNiO4 is very low at 700 °C (<0.4 Ωcm2).
