Abstract
► MgH2 powders were milled with additives (5 wt.% V, Nb, Ti and Graphite). ► The hydrogen desorption temperatures of the MgH2 milled with additives are 40-50 °C lower than as-received MgH2 powders. ► The reduced particle size is an essential factor to decrease the hydrogen desorption temperature of MgH2 powders.
