Abstract
⺠CBB pathway provides redox balancing during photoheterotrophic growth. ⺠Relationship between redox balancing systems and hydrogen production in R. capsulatus. ⺠CBB pathway of R. capsulatus strains was inactivated by deleting phosphoribulokinase. ⺠Total hydrogen production was increased slightly in some CBB deficient mutants.
