Abstract
In this article, a hitherto unknown coordination behavior of ONO pincer ligand such as dianionic tridentate and trianionic pentadentate towards Ni(II/III) ions in the same complex is explored. First report on the square-planar as well as pentagonal bipyramidal geometries around the nickel ions in the same molecule is identified.64
