Abstract
The thiacrown, ([9]aneS3), forms elongated square pyramidal complexes of the type [S2P2 + S1] or [S2PCl + S1] with Pd(II) and Pt(II) where the M-S1 axial distance elongates and shortens with the Ï-donor ability of the phosphane and chlorido ligands.71
