Abstract
Six octahedral Ni(II) complexes coordinated by 5-X-N-(8-quinolyl)salicylaldimine (XÂ =Â H, OMe, Cl, Br, Me, t-Bu) and differing only in their peripheral substituents have been prepared. 3D, 2D and 1D supramolecular networks are formed that are substituent dependent.102
