Abstract
A monomeric ZnOH complex was reacted with various Histone Deacetylase inhibitors, including suberanilohydroxamic acid (SAHA). The complexes were crystallized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. Comparison with literature complexes allowed a deeper understanding of how various zinc-binding groups (ZBG) interact with enzymes.44
