Abstract
Spectroscopic properties of NiSnCl6·6H2O are modelled to establish its applicability as a probe for pressure calibration in high-magnetic field and high-frequency EMR (HMF-EMR) measurements. The results indicate the feasibility of pressure calibration up to 6 GPa by measuring the EMR transitions originating from Ni2+ ions in NiSnCl6·6H2O.82
