Abstract
Two novel oxomolybdenum(V)-trispyrazolylborate complexes [(TpMoO)(μ2-O)2(MoOTp)](Tp = tris(pyrazolyl)borate) (1) and [(Tp4IMoOCl)(μ-O)(MoOClTp4I)](Tp4I = tris(4-iodinpyrazolyl)borate) (2) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Their catalytic performances in cyclohexane (Cy) oxidation were studied. It is found that the catalytic performances of molybdenum(V) complexes 1 and 2 were far more better than the molybdenum(VI) complexes with the similar structure. The influence of the amount of H2O2, HNO3 and the solvents on the Cy oxidation were investigated too.138
