Supramolecular solid-state patterns generated by hydrogen bonding and π-π stacking interactions in the mononuclear Cr(III) complexes

Three new Cr(III) acetylacetonate complexes with 2,2′-bipyridine and/or 1,10-phenanthroline ligands have been prepared and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. All complexes illustrate the impact of non-covalent interactions in sustaining supramolecular solid-state architectures. The solid-state luminescence properties were recorded.101
