Abstract
Three new phosphine substituted derivatives of quinolyl-functionalized diiron have been synthesized. The molecular structures of mono-substituted complexes (PPh3 and dppm) were characterized by X-ray crystallography. The protonation experiments were performed for PMe3-disubstituted complex also. Since the substitution by phosphine ligands at the quinolyl-functionalized diiron core appears to have a slight influence on the molecular structures.
