Abstract
The characterization of pyridoxal isonicotinoyl hydrazone (HL) and its Cu(II) complexes was done by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, UV-Vis, IR and EPR spectroscopy, thermal studies and elemental analysis. The structure of HL was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The microbiological effect of ligand and complexes against Gram-positive and Gram-negative strains was tested.142
