Abstract
A three-dimensional (3D) coordination network {[Cd3(BTC)2(L)3(H2O)3]·3H2O}â [L = N,Nâ²-di(4-pyridyl)adipoamide; H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid], 1, has been synthesized, which exhibits a 3-fold interpenetrated net with the rare tfz topology. Gas adsorption experiments of the desolvated product of 1 show that the H2 capture is preferable to N2 and CO2.
