Abstract
The synthesis, crystal structure and magnetic property of one neutral dichlorido bridged dinuclear copper(II) compound containing an unsymmetrical didentate Schiff base as an end-capping ligand is described. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurement shows weak intramolecular ferromagnetic coupling between the metal centers mediated by the double asymmetric chlorido bridge and weak intermolecular antiferromagnetic interactions between the dinuclear entities.
