Abstract
Nine new lanthanide complexes [Ln(OPPh3)2(phen)(NO3)3] (1-5) (OPPh3 = triphenylphosphine oxide, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, Ln = Ce, Gd, Tb, Ho, Eu) and [Ln(OPPh3)2(C2H5OH)(NO3)3] (6-9) (Ln = Tb, Ho, Er, Tm) have been synthesized from lanthanide metals, OPPh3, phen in acetonitrile (1-4) or ethanol (5-9) and characterized by IR, elemental analyses, X-ray diffraction analysis, luminescence, TGA and NMR spectroscopy.
