Abstract
Reaction of the encapsulating ligand 1-methyl-8-amino-3,13,16-trithia-6,10,19-triazabicyclo[6.6.6]icosane (AMN3S3sar) with the amide coupling agent DMT-MM and a range of carboxylic acids offers a one-pot synthesis approach for the preparation of new bifunctional chelators.
