Abstract
New palladium(II) complexes have been synthesized from Pd(OAc)2 and bidentate pyridyl-sulfonamide ligands. The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, TG, NMR, IR and X-ray diffraction. Additionally, the synthesized Pd(II) complexes were tested as catalysts for the oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde.
