Abstract
Three cadmium(II) complexes were synthesised and characterized. Complex 1 is a double end-on azide bridged one-dimensional polymer and forms a nice three-dimensional supramolecular architecture. Complexes 2 and 3 are dinuclear. The variation in the denticity of the ligands causes changes in the molecular and crystalline architectures of the complexes.
