Abstract
Complexes of molybdenum(IV) isolated in reaction of Schiff bases based on 2-(aminomethyl)pyridine and aliphatic ketones or 2-acetylpyridine and 2-aminoethanol with K3Na[Mo(CN)4O2]·6H2O. The very unusual position of pyridine ring and coordination of only 2-(aminomethyl)pyridine are discussed. The structures of these compounds have been characterized by X-ray crystallography.
