Abstract
1-Aminocarboxylates and phosphonates are oxidized by hydrogen peroxide on the analogy of the 1-aminocyclopropanecarboxylate oxidase (ACCO) reaction at rates that depend on the Cu(II)/Cu(I) reducion potential of their complexes.
