Abstract
In this study, five new compounds were synthesized via electrophilic cyclization of homopropargyl tellurides using I2 as electrophile. All of these compounds were characterized by X-ray crystallography and display secondary interactions between Teâ¯I and/or Iâ¯I. These interactions are responsible for the formation of different supramolecular assemblies.
