Abstract
This work deals with an azide-bridged hexacopper(II)-based one-dimensional tape-type coordination polymer of composition [CuII6(N,N-diethylethylenediamine)2(μ1,1-N3)8(μ1,1,1-N3)2(μ1,3-N3)2]n. μ1,1- and μ1,1,1-azide ligands form hexacopper(II) units, which are interlinked by μ1,3-azide ligands. Variable-temperature and variable-field magnetic properties reveal overall ferromagnetic exchange interaction. Interestingly, considering metallo-azides of any metal ions, a new pattern of azide-bridged network is observed.
