Abstract
A series of Ln2-based coordination polymers, [Ln(Dcam)(NO3)(MeOH)2]n (Ln = Pr·1, Nd·2, Sm·3, and Eu·4; d-H2cam = (+) d-camphoric acid) has been reported. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses revealed that all of compounds show 2D grid layer structure with a dimeric sub-building unit (SUB) of [Ln2(O2CR)4(NO3)2(MeOH)4] through the covalently-linked of cam2â ligand. Compound of Eu·4 shows the characteristic emission spectrum of Eu3+ ion in solid-state luminescent property measured, while the magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that Pr·1 to Eu·4 exhibit both antiferromagnetic and spin-orbital interactions.
