Abstract
A [CoCl2(3,5-Br2py)2] single-chain magnet is studied via a single crystal electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) technique to probe into the competition between the magnetic correlations along the chain, and thermal spin fluctuations that attempt to break the chain in smaller and smaller segments.
