Abstract
Two new Schiff bases 2-((pyridin-4-yl)methelenamino)-3aminomaleonitrile and 2,3-bis((pyridin-yl)methylenamino)maleonitrile were synthesized and characterized. The optimized structures, vibrational frequencies and 1H/13C NMR spectral data obtained theoretically were found to be in good agreement with experimental data.118
