Abstract
Colorless transparent hard plate shaped crystals of l-Methionine-Succinic acid (2/1) was successfully grown from water as a solvent by slow evaporation technique. The grown single crystal was subjected to various characterization techniques in order to understand its suitability for the device fabrication. The second and third harmonic generation efficacy was confirmed by means of Kurtz-Perry and Z-scan procedure which attest its potentiality in the domain of nonlinear optics.177
