Abstract
A couple of chiral unsymmtrical Schiff base ligands, and their Mn (III) complexes had been synthesized and fully characterized. The interaction of the two Mn (III) complexes with bovine serum albumin (BSA) was investigated by spectroscopic techniques. SOD-like activity and ABTS free radical scavenging ability were also studied. The results showed that the microenvironment of BSA can enhance the activity of the complexes.104
