Abstract
On the basis of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and the dichroic synthesized dye polarizer absorbing in the UV region of the spectrum (λmax = 353 nm) with the effect of polarization in the absorption maximum 96% was developed. The spectral-polarization parameters of stretched PVA-films were calculated.
