Abstract
Solvothermal synthesis of a 2-fold interpenetrating 3D zinc-organic framework based on 1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylate and 3,3â²-dimethyl-4,4â²-bipyridine ligands, leads to a material that is water vapor stable and emits intense blue luminescence, and exhibits high catalytic efficiency for degradation of methyl orange in a Fenton-like process.
