Abstract
Square-tubular helical coordination polymers were efficiently constructed by using copper(II) ion as an angular-directional unit and dimethylbis(4-pyridyl)silane (L) as a key helical spacer. The delicate structural differences in helical pitches and unit cell volumes and the physicochemical properties including thermal behaviors are very sensitive to volume of functional groups.
