Abstract
⺠A two-level model is presented for the dependence of mutual diffusivity on salt bath poisoning. ⺠Model predictions are in good agreement with experimental data. ⺠Dependence of the activation barrier for mutual diffusivity on glass/bath composition is studied. ⺠Magnitude of the network dilation anomaly is lower for aluminosilicate glass compared to soda lime glass.
