Abstract
⺠We highlight the kinetics reactivity of a glass containing high sodium oxide. ⺠Two synthesis methods are used: melting and sol-gel routes. ⺠Bone-like apatite was formed at surface of glass prepared by the two routes. ⺠However, sol-gel glass exhibits properties for high kinetics of bioactivity. ⺠Also, it leads to silica gel formation up on amorphous apatite layers at any time.
