Abstract
⺠Ti-based BMG matrix composites with in situ precipitated β-Ti phase were fabricated by SPS. ⺠Wider ÎTx and smaller particle size for the as-synthesized amorphous powder are present. ⺠Spherical nanocrystalline β-Ti is homogeneously precipitated in amorphous matrix. ⺠The sample sintered at 743 K has high relative density and amorphous phase volume fraction, ⺠We provide an alternative method for fabricating large-sized BMG matrix composites by SPS.
