Abstract
⺠We report, the mixed alkali effect in the xLi2O-(30 â x)Na2O-10WO3-60B2O3 glasses. ⺠Density, MDSC studies, optical band gap and Urbach energy (ÎE) have been evaluated. ⺠Optical band gap and ÎE show mixed alkali effect. ⺠The glass basicity and interaction parameter were observed to be less. ⺠These glasses are promising materials such as electrolyte in solid state batteries.
