Abstract
► The non-isothermal crystallization behavior of the PVDF/PMMA blends processed in a low and high shear mixer is proposed. ► The kinetics parameters depend on the rejection of amorphous fractions in the semicrystalline polymer. ► The defects caused in PVDF structure by high shear processing reduce the energetic barrier for crystallization phenomenon. ► PVDF/PMMA blends shown a complex crystallization phenomenon independent of type of processing.
