Abstract
⺠Amorphous carbon nanotubes were synthesized by VDP method. ⺠Amorphous nature of the carbon nanotubes was confirmed by techniques. ⺠Morphologies and specific surface area of the carbon nanotubes were characterized. ⺠A hypothesis about the formation mechanism of the carbon nanotubes was proposed.
