Abstract
From the experimental study it was found that mean particle size of precipitated Ammonium Di-Uranate (ADU) depends on the free acidity content and entrained TBP in Uranyl Nitrate Pure Solution (UNPS). It was found that as the free acidity as well as the entrained TBP content in UNPS increases, mean particle size of precipitated ADU decreases. Based on the experimental results two correlations were developed as shown in below figures.172
