Abstract
A numerical study of unidimensional and steady state bimodal flux diffusion equation has been developed using the Finite Volume Method. In addition, with the Fick's flux, this equation has another flux named retention or secondary flux. The influence of each flux has been analysed in this work. The influence of several different parameters, such as boundary conditions or amplitude and frequency of the solution, in the numerical errors has been studied. Numerical results show the performance of the proposed model.
