Abstract
•We present results from a new testing approach adapted to characterize the shear behavior of unsat. infilled rock fractures.•We analyze the hydraulic and mechanical behaviors of infilled fractures during drying and wetting.•We use an alternate approach to characterize the impact of degree of saturation on the shear behavior of infilled fracture.
