Abstract
In this work, we study the modification of the electron collision operator for neutral Helium atoms in plasmas taking into consideration the presence of the local electric field (electric microfield) created by the ions that constitute the plasma. This microfield affects the electron trajectory and then modifies the well known collision operator formula developed for the straight trajectories in the case of neutral emitters.
