Abstract
Using the data samples of 102Ã106Ï(1S) and 158Ã106Ï(2S) events collected at Belle, several studies on Ï(1S/2S) decays have been performed recently. Charge-parity-even charmonium(-like) states, such as Ïc0,1,2, ηc, X(3872), X(3915), Y(4140), and X(4350) (only in Ï(2S) data), are first searched in Ï(1S/2S) radiative decays, though there are no significant signals observed. Among double-charmonium final states from Ï(1S/2S) exclusive decays, the evidence for Ï(1S)âJ/ÏÏc1 was found first with a signal significance of 4.6Ï, and the branching fraction was measured to be (3.90 ± 1.21(stat.) ± 0.23(syst.)) à 10-6. Some exclusive light hadronic decays are also searched for the first time, including the intermediate vector-tensor, axial-vector-pseudoscaler, and vector-pseudoscaler processes. Signals are observed in the Ï(1S)âÏK+Kâ, ÏÏ+Ïâ, Kâ(892)0KâÏ+, KS0K+Ïâ+c.c., Ï+ÏâÏ0Ï0, Kâ(892)0Kâ¾2â(1430)0 and Ï(2S)âÏK+Kâ, Kâ(892)0KâÏ+, Ï+ÏâÏ0Ï0 decay modes, and evidence is found for the modes of Ï(1S)âÏ+ÏâÏ0, K1(1400)+Kâ, Kâ(892)0Kâ¾0+c.c. and Ï(2S)âKS0K+Ïâ+c.c., Kâ(892)0Kâ¾2â(1430)0. In addition, the study of the hadronic transitions, Ï(2S)â(η,Ï0)Ï(1S), is performed, and B(Ï(2S)âηÏ(1S))=(3.57±0.25(stat.)±0.21(syst.))Ã106â4 and B(Ï(2S)âÏ0Ï(1S))<4.1Ã10â5 (90%C.L.) are obtained.
