Abstract
The aim of this contribution is to investigate the inclusion of the correct exact integration limits for momentum transfer on ECPSSR theory for a wide range of elements (18â¤Zâ¤92) by proton impact with energy up to 10.0 MeV and its effect on deducing a reliable semi-empirical method for calculating L shell x-ray production and ionization cross sections. A comparison is made with earlier theoretical and experimental results.
