Abstract
- T1DM is associated with changes in liver lipid profile.
- Relative contents of PC, LPC and SM decrease, while the other PL classes increase.
- Remodeling of acyl chains comprises reduction of 16:0 and increase of 18:0 and 20:4.
- PL changes seem to underlie liver dysfunction related with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
