Abstract
⺠A novel function of GAPDH, a well-known glycolytic enzyme, was revealed. ⺠GAPDH down-regulated cyxlooxygenase-2 (COX-2) mRNA by its destabilization. ⺠GAPDH may bind to COX-2 ARE through NAD+ binding domain. ⺠Lipopolysaccharide markedly reduced nuclear GAPDH.
